We are currently experiencing an issue with slow or intermittent access to v-mail-file-3 which is on one of our storage servers in London. We are currently awaiting an engineer to assess the the issue. This will affect mail access for customers with mailboxes on this server. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update 09:55: Mailboxes on this server are now available, however, our server team are continuing to investigate a potential network issue after our maintenance window last night.
Update 11:35: We are going to be restarting v-mail-file-3 to move it to another node in our virtual infrastructure within the next few minutes. Customers will experience a brief outage as the server is restarted as part of our ongoing work in resolving this issue.
Update 12:40: We have not had a recurrance of this issue for for an hour and a half and will be investigating why one of our server nodes was having an issue with it’s connectivity to our network.

On Tuesday evening, we are upgrading our IMAP servers, affecting all email customers. During this period, email will continue to be delivered to customers inboxes as normal, but customers may be unable to access their email via IMAP for short periods of time.

Our ADSL carrier is performing core network engineering work on Friday 27th February, this maintenance window will open at 01:00 and close at 06:00
During this time, customers may become disconnected from the network , this may happen more than once during the maintenance window.
We would recommend first power cycling your router if you find you are unable to gain internet access on Friday morning after this work has been completed.
We wish to advise customers that due to a flu virus, our support team is running at a reduced capacity and customers may experience long delays for telephone support. We would recommend submitting urgent issues via email to support@gradwell.net and we will try to address the issue as soon as possible. We expect to be back to normal capacity on Monday.

Users currently trying to access web sites hosted on our PHP4 cluster may be experiencing intermittent timeout errors.
Our oncall engineering team have been notified of this current issue and we are working to restore this service.
Further updates will be posted once information becomes available.
This issue has now been resolved by our on call technicians , a number of machines that make up the PHP cluster have been restarted to clear the fault. Technicians will continue to investigate the cause of this problem.
We are currently experiencing a problem with our FTP server - Ochre. Which also serves as a backup customer shell server. Newred and Shell are still available for shell. We are currently awaiting an on-site technician to restart the server and restore connectivity. Customer web-site access and ssh access is not affected.
Update: Ochre has now been restarted and FTP service is now available. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We will be performing the following maintenance on our infrastructure and equipment hosted in our Telehouse suite:
- Network switch replacement in rack C4 (affects services running on VMWare ESX)
- Memory upgrade for mysqldb4-1 server
- Decommissioning of burgundy server
- Replacing network cables of the voip-manager and lon-pbx-1 servers
All services may be affected for short periods of time during this maintenance window. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, and will endeavour to keep all downtime to a minimum.
09;45: We have identified a configuration issue with v-mail-file-2 and corrected this, bringing the file-system back online. Customers will now be able to access mail on this server. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We are currently in the process of rebooting v-mail-file-2 to clear some deadlocked NFS server processes. Customers will be unable to access mailboxes stored on v-mail-file-2 during this time.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and hope to have service restored shortly.
UPDATE 2009/02/14 08:09: v-mail-file-2 has been successfully rebooted, and all mailboxes should be accessible once more. If you are still experiencing difficulty accessing your mailbox, please contact our Customer Services team for assistance.
Update 2009/02/14 14:25: We have had to restart v-mail-file-2 again due to a recurrance of this morning’s problem. The service is now up and running correctly. If you are still having a problem accing mail, please use our support portal to submit an incident and our customer services team will investigate as soon as possible.
