Notification of DSL Service outage Sheffield
Our ADSL carrier has reported that they are experiencing an issue with DSL connections in the Sheffield area.
Customers connecting over BT’s Datastream network may experiencing problems in negogiating a PPP session.
Our carrier has dispatched local engineering teams to the exchanges to investigate the cause of this problem further.
We will update this posting once further information has been received from the carrier.
Update 1:45pm - Engineers have now reset the switching tables at the affected Sheffield exchanges , indiciations now show this issue has been resolved, our carrier will continue to monitor and update us.
