RESOLVED: Denali mail system
We are currently performing some emergency maintenance on our mail host ‘Denali’ due to investigating high load on the server. The mail server will be temporarily unavailable for the next few minutes whilst we run this check. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We will update with further details as soon as they are available.
Update: 12:10: We currently awaiting file system checks to complete on Denali, which we expect to take at least the next thirty minutes. We believe the high load was caused by file system errors
Update: 12:58: We have now brought Denali’s file storage back online, this issue was caused by file system corruption which did not present as a problem until inside working hours today and was preventing successful mail deliveries from succeeding. We apologise for the disruption caused by this unplanned maintenance.
